About Leonard Cohen
The style of Leonard Cohen has changed over the years, since the release of his first Songs of Leonard Cohen in 1967 and through to this day, as much as his voice has. The earlier Leonard Cohen songs were rooted in folk music melodies, but later in the 70s, he would turn to the direction of pop and cabaret. With his voice changing and the 80s approaching, Cohen sand in a bass register with the staple female backing vocals.
